Body of martyred journalist Selina Parvin’s son found

Staff Correspondent: Martyred journalist Selina Parvin's son Sumon Zahid, 52, has been found dead at Khilgaon rail line in the capital.

Police recovered the body around 10.00am on Thursday from Bagicha area of Khilgaon.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khilgaon Railway Thana Yeasin Faruk confirmed the matter. Police suspected that he was crushed under the wheels of a train.

Shumon Zahid was the third prosecution witness in the war crimes case against absconding Mueen and Ashrafuzzaman Khan who were involved with the abduction and killing of intellectuals at the fag end of the country's Liberation War.
