Bomb disposal unit resumes work at Atia Mahal

Sylhet Correspondent: A bomb disposal unit of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) resumed work again at militant den Atia Mahal at Shibbari in Dakkhin Surma upazila in Sylhet on Monday morning six‐day after the army‐led operation.

The team went to the house around 9:00am and returned to RAB-9 office. Later, they again entered into the house at 1:10pm with a team of fire service and an ambulance.

RAB ASP Monir said that two bodied will be recovered from the house after the bomb disposal unit complete their work there.

Later, details will be disclosed the matter in a press conference.

On March 24, early morning police acting on tip-off cordoned off the building and later special force SWAT joined them. Meanwhile, a commando team of Army started the ‘Operation Twilight’ that had killed four extremists.
