Boy dies in Tongi fire

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A 12 years old body died after being burnt by a fire at Ershadnagar in Tongi of Gazipur on Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as Rana, 12, son of Monir Hossain, 35.
Sources said that the fire originated at the house of Monir Hossain around 5:30am and spread out to adjacent area, leaving his son Rana dead on the spot and injured Monir Hossain and his another son named Razib, 15.
On information, three fire units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control after 20 minutes effort.
Primary investigation said that the fire was originated from a gas burner, he added.
