Bridges minister never signs DO letter

Senior Correspondent: Road, Transport and Bridges minister Obaidul Quader never signs any demi-official (DO) letter for job appointment, transfer, promotion or admission to any institution. If someone shows such a DO letter, it must be fake and fabricated.

Abu Naser, senior information officer of the ministry, said this on Thursday.

He also asked all to be alert in this regard.

Abu Naser said, “Allegation was found that a fraud group is sending DO letters with fake signature of the minister to different institutions. In fact, the minister never gives any DO letter. So, if someone gives with his signature, it must be fake.”

“If anyone gets DO letter of the minister, he/she is requested to inform the matter to the ministry any means or dialing 02-9515533,” he added.
