British lawyer to help Khaleda in fighting cases

Senior Reporter: A British lawyer, Lord Carlile, will assist BNP chairperson’s lawyers and to help in fighting her cases.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir disclosed the appointment of British lawyer at a press briefing held at the party’s Naya Paltan central office on Tuesday.
The lawyer will be a member of all lawyers’ panels of Khaleda Zia, and he will extend legal assistance and advices to the legal team, Fakhrul said.
The appointment will enrich the team and bring the issue to the attention of the international quarters, Fakhrul added.
