Bus kills former UP chairman among 2

Sirajganj Correspondent: Two motorbike riders including a former chairman of union parishad have been killed by bus at Sirajganj sadar upazila.

The incident took place at Chara Bottola area on Sirajganj-Nalka under construction four-lane highway on Friday afternoon.

The deceased were known as Mizanur Rahman, son of late Mojibor Rahman Mollah, also former chairman of Kalia Haripur union parishad, and Dulal Hossain, son of Abdul Majid of the same village. They both were killed at the spot. 

Mehedi Hassan, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Sirajganj Sadar Police Station, said that the bodies were sent to morgue for autopsy. The bus was seized. However, the driver and his associate managed to flee the scene.
