Bus kills man in capital

Staff Correspondent: A man was killed as a bus hit him at Badda Link Road in the capital on Sunday morning.

The deceased was known as Rashedul Islam Titu, 30, an official of a private show room in Gulshan.

Ashraful Islam, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Badda Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said, “A speedy bus hit Rashedul when he was walking on the road, leaving him seriously injured. He succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatement at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) around 1:00pm.”

“His relatives identified the bodies in the hospital. The bus was seized,” he added.
