Bus kills motorcyclist in Rajshahi

RU Correspondent: A youth was killed as a bus hit his motorbike at Binodpur Bazar area adjacent to Rajshahi University (RU) campus on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Porosh Ali, 20, son of Mahtab Ali of Ghoriyaparha village under Puthia upazila in Rjahshai.
Witnesses said an Akota Paribahan bus hit the motorbike Porosh was running while heading to the city, leaving him seriously injured.
He was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital where he succumbed.
Humayun Kabir, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Motihar Police Station, confirmed the news.
The body was handed over to the family, he added.
