Bus service stopped on Bangabandhu bridge

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: Transport workers have stopped bus service on Bangabandhu bridge protesting the alleged beating up of a truck driver.

Transport workers stopped bus service from 8.00am on Saturday and the service was stopped until 10.00am when the report was filed.

Workers alleged that Sub Inspector of Bangabandhu Bridge East Thana Nure Alam beat up a truck driver after he refused to give ransom.

After spread of this news, transport workers stopped the movement of vehicles after 8.00am, creating a heavy traffic jam.
