Bus-truck collision kills 2 in Tangail

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: Two people have been killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck on Dhaka-Khulna in Mirzapur of Tangail.
The deceased were identified as Palash, 17, son of Nuruzzaman and Gopal, 21, son of Amal.
Police said that Jaypurhat-bound a passenger bus collided with a truck from opposite direction in Dhalla area of Mirzapur upazila this morning, leaving the two people dead and injured 10 others.
Confirming the matter, Sub-inspector Alamgir Hossain of Mirzapur police station said that the bodies were kept at highway police station.
