5 of a family killed in Gopalganj road crash

Gopalganj Correspondent: Five of family killed in a collision between a bus and a microbus on Dhaka-Khulna highway Majhirgati village under Kashiani upazila in the district on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Halim Akan, 40, his wife Asma Begum, 32, brother-in-law Badal Farazi, 35, son Sujan, 17 and Sihab.

Sources said that Halim Akan returned from Saudi this morning. Later, his family members received him at Shahjalal International Airport and the family was heading towards village riding a microbus. But, the vehicle collided with a bus in the area around 10:30am, leaving the five people dead. 

Kashiani police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) AKM Ali Nur confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
