Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Police recovered throat-slit body of a businessman from Barabkunda area of the district's Sitakunda upazila on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Shahidullah Saodagar, 65.
Nurul Alam, duty officer of Sitakunda police station, said locals spotted the throat-slit body on roadside at Barabkunda area in the morning. Being informed, police recovered the body.
The murder might have been committed by snatchers, he added.
The body was sent to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital for autopsy, he said.
