CEC hopes all parties to participate in election

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda said we have already started dialogue for the next general election as we want all political parties to participate in the polls.

He said, "We will also hold discussion with different political parties. Hope, all parties will compete in the election."

The CEC came up with the statement while speaking a programme arranged on updating voter list in the district's Kapasia upazila on Tuesday noon.

When asked over Army deployment during polls, Nurul Huda said, "I cannot surely tell that. Decision for Army deployment can be taken only if it seems to hold election impossible without military."
