Cabinet approves draft of Bank Company Act, 2017

Senior Correspondent: The cabinet approved in principle the draft of Bank Company (Amendment) Act, 2017.
The approval was given at the weekly cabinet meeting at the Secretariat in Dhaka on Monday with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
Later, Cabinet Secretary Shafiul Alam briefed reporters.
The finance department of the Finance Ministry placed the proposal at the Secretariat, Shafiul said.
