Case filed against 5 including Nur

Staff Correspondent: A case has been filed against five people including newly-elected DUCSU vice-president and quota reformist Nurul Haq Nur on charge of assaulting the Ruqayyah Hall provost during Monday’s election.

Ruqayyah Hall Provost Professor Dr Zeenat Huda filed the case with Shahbagh Police Station on Monday night.

Leftist panel's VP candidate Liton Nandi, also general secretary of Bangladesh Chaatra Union, was also made accused in the case.

The provost also brought allegation of vandalism in the hall against the accused, sources said.
