Staff Correspondent: A case has been filed with Chawkbazar police station over the devastating fire incident in capital’s Chawkbazar.
Sub-inspector (SI) Delwar Hossain of Chawkbazar police station filed the case around 11:00pm on Thursday against unidentified traders on charges of causing the death of 67 through negligence.
At least 67 people were confirmed dead in a devastating fire that broke out at a chemical warehouse and ripped through four other adjacent buildings in the city's Chawkbazar area on Wednesday night. Besides, nine critically injured people are admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
