Cautionary signal 2 for sea ports

Staff Correspondent: Maritime ports have been advised to hoist distant warning signal no. two as deep depression convection is continuing over northeast Bay.

Met office bulletin said rain of thunder showers temporary west or northeast gusty or squally wind speed 60-80 Kph is likely to occur over the regions of Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Jessore, Kushtia, and Sylhet wherein riverports shall hoist cautionary signal number two.

All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to keep close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice.

They are also advised not to venture into the deep sea.
