Central Chhatra League convention to be held in March

Staff Correspondent: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister has that said central Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL)'s convention will be held in March. 

The party general secretary made the announcement while inaugurating the 70th founding anniversary of BCL in front of Aparajeyo Bangla in Dhaka University on Saturday.

He said, "I talked to the party chief. She asked Chhatra League to take preparation for convention. She wished that the next convention should take place in March, the month of independence".

Obaidul Quader said, "The achievements of the incumbent BCL committee were much more. The organization got a huge format.  It’s their achievement."

I will say to BCL, "Take preparation for national convention calling executive committee meeting soon. The party chief wants the convention in next March."

Meanwhile, he told BCL to fix a date for the convention.

Chhatra League president Saifur Rahman Sohag presided over the programme where general secretary SM Jakir Hossain and others leaders attended.
