Chase, counter-chase between AL’s 2 groups

Staff Correspondent: A chase and counter-chase took place between two factions of Awami League in capital’s Adabar area on Saturday morning.

The incident took place around 9.30am between the supporters of Awami League leaders Jahangir Kabir Nanok MP and Sadek Khan centering the collection of nomination paper.

 

According to sources, Sadeq Khan was going to the party office in Dhanmondi to collect nomination paper.

On information, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
