Staff Correspondent: BNP Standing Committee Member Moudud Ahmed complained that Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha was forced to resign from his post.
The BNP leader came up with the assertion while addressing a discussion programme at National Press Club in Dhaka on Saturday.
Meanwhile he said, “The whole nation has plunged into a severe setback due to the resignation of Chief Justice.”
“Sinha’s resignation day will be marked as a black chapter,” Moudud said.
He also said that there is no environment to hold election. The election will not be acceptable without neutral government.
Jatiyatabadi Sangskritik Dal president Humayun Kabir presided over the programme where BNP vice-chairman Ahmed Azam Khan, joint secretary general Khairul Kabir Khokon and others joined.
