Chief Justice seeks one-month leave

Staff Correspondent: Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha has sought for a one-month leave from President M Abdul Hamid showing reasons of illness.

Law Minister Anisul Huq confirmed this to journalists on Monday.

Justice Md Abdul Wahhab Miah will perform his duties as the acting chief justice if Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha goes on the leave, according to a source.
