China minister arrives in Dhaka

Secretariat Correspondent: Zhao Kezhi, Minister of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China, has arrived in Dhaka to discuss security cooperation.

Home Ministry sources said the Chinese minister reached Dhaka on Wednesday night to boost Dhaka-Beijing bilateral relations. 

Chinese Foreign Minister Kezhi will hold talks with Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal during his visit to Bangladesh. It is also expected that he will make a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Zhao is an influential person in Chinese politics. He was executive vice governor of Jiangsu Province. Zhao was also deputy secretary of CCP Guizhou Provincial Committee and governor of Guizhou Province.
