Cholera vaccination for Rohingyas to start from tomorrow

Staff Correspondent: Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said that Cholera vaccine will be given to six and a half lakh people, including 2.5 lakh children in Rohingya camp from tomorrow.
The minister came up with the announcement while addressing a press conference at his secretariat office on Monday noon.
He said that the government decided to provide cholera vaccines to local people including Rohingyas refugees who are in health risk.
"Children between aged 1- 5 years will get cholera vaccine. Besides, adult men and women will also get oral vaccine during the campaign," he said.
State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Zahid Malik MP will inaugurate the vaccination programme at Kutupalang Rohingya camp in Ukhia.
