Cigarette worth 50 lakh seized at Dhaka airport

Staff Correspondent: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department has seized 870 cartons of cigarette worth estimated Tk 50 lakh at Shahjalal International Airport on Monday.
Customs Director General Moinul Khan confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
Sources said that a flight of SV 402 landed at Shahjalal Airport from Dubai and a team of detectives found the illegal cigarettes in lost and found section at the airport.
Legal actions will be taken against the importers.
