Circular bus services in Motijheel-Dhanmondi-Uttara soon

Staff Correspondent: Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon on Wednesday said circular bus service will be introduced in capital’s Dhanmondi, Uttara, Motijheel area to bring discipline in transport sector.

The mayor made the disclosure after a meeting at Nagar Bhaban with committee for bus route rationalization affairs. 

He said that primarily the circular bus service will be launched after the second week of April month.

“We hope that we will be able to start the service with the help of all,” the mayor added.

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) mayor Atikul Islam, RAJUK Chairman Abdur Rahman, Transport owners’ association leader Enayetullah Khan, representatives from DMP, BRTC, Dhaka Transport Coordination Authority (DTCA) attended the function.
