Coal disappearance: Steps after PMO’s report

Secretariat Correspondent: State Minister for Power and Energy Nasrul Hamid Bipu said that steps would be taken against those are involved in Barapukuria coal disappearance scam after receiving probe report of Prime Minister Office (PMO).
The Minister said this in a press briefing at the Secretariat on Wednesday.
He said, “A temporary investigation has been carried out over the coal disappearance scam. PMO officials visited Barapukuria Coal Mining Company Limited (BCMCL) in Dinajpur to conduct a massive probe into the corruption. But they have yet not submitted the report. Hope, they will give it within the current week. Then, steps will be taken officially.”
When asked if the report will be released publicly, he he said that of course, everything will be present transparently.
