College girl set on fire in Narsingdi, one held

Senior Correspondent: Police has held a man named Sajib in connection with setting fire to a college girl in Narsingdi.
Police held him from Purbapara area of Roypur upazila early Friday. But no case was filed yet.
A college girl was set on fire by miscreants on Thursday night in Narsingdi.
The victim is Fulon Rani Barmon, 22, a student of Udayon College. She is the daughter of Jugendra Barman in Birpur area of Narsingdi municipality.
She was taken to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Thursday night.
According to locals, Fulon along with her aunt went to a local shop to buy cake around 8.30pm. Miscreants caught her while she was returning home. They poured kerosene on her body after tiding her hands and legs and then torched her, leaving her injured critically.
Later, her family members rushed her to DMCH in critical condition.
