Comilla City Corporation councillors take oath

Secretariat Correspondent: The newly elected councillors of the Comilla City Corporation have taken their oath on Thursday noon.
Local Government minister Engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain administered oath to them in local government's conference room in the ministry.
A total of 22 general councillors and seven councilors from reserved seats of the city corporations were declared officially elected.
Local Government Division Secretary Abdul Malek conducted the function. Newly-Elected Comilla City Corporation Mayor Monirul Haq Sakku, PM’s Advisers HT Imam and Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury and MPs elected from Comilla were present.
