Corruption behind all system losses: ACC secy

Staff Correspondent: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Secretary Mohammad Delwar Bakth thinks that there is corruption behind all system losses which should be prevented and remedied with concerted efforts.

He said this while speaking at a view-exchange meeting with employees and staff of different stages at the ACC head office in the capital on Monday.

"There is no alternative to preventing corruption in order to make our stance on the highway of development more stable and sustainable. There is corruption behind all system losses which should be prevented and remedied unitedly," the ACC secretary said.

Delwar Bakth said the rate of investigation into allegations and case disposals will be increased if all employees of the commission perform their duties with honesty and quickness. This will ultimately accelerate the speed of the commission’s work.

ACC Director General (Administration) Mohammad Munir Chowdhury presided over the view-exchange meeting.
