Country sees development when AL comes to power

Risingbd Desk: Awami League (AL) President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that the country and people see development whenever AL comes to power.

The premier said this while speaking a rally at Sylhet Government Alia Madrasa Ground on Saturday afternoon.

She alleged that BNP-Jamaat coalition government had established a reign of terror and corruption when they came to power in 2001.

Sheikh Hasina visits Sylhet for election campaign on the occasion of the 11the national parliament which is scheduled to be held on December 30.

The flight carrying Sheikh Hasina touched down Sylhet Osmani International Airport around 10:47am.

From there, she directly went to the shrine of Hazrat Shah Jalal (R.) to offer munajat. Later, she also visited shrines of Shah Poran (R.) and Shah Burhan Uddin (R.).
