Court orders fresh autopsy of Model Raudha

Staff Correspondent: A court ordered to exhume the body of Maldivian fashion model Raudha Atif for fresh autopsy. 

Judge Mahabur Rahman of Rajshahi Metropolitan Chief Magistrate's Court-1 passed the order responding to the request of the investigating officer on Tuesday.

Court Inspector Abul Hashem confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.

He said that Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of police wanted to exhume the body for fresh autopsy. 

The court also ordered that the exhumation to be done in presence of an additional district judge.

Raudha's body was recovered from room-209 of the hostel of Rajshahi Islami Bank Medical College. A medical board finished autopsy of her body on March 31 and the bod was buried on April 1 in Hetemkhan graveyard in the city. The primary autopsy report concluded the death a suicide.
