Staff Correspondent: Members of Crime Investigation Department (CID) have arrested the mastermind of the recent credit card fraud cases of five banks from the capital.
The arrestee is Shariful Islam Mithu.
Tipped off, a team of Organised Crime unit of CID conducted a drive in different parts of the city and arrested Shariful Islam from Mirpur area on Tuesday night following the recent credit card fraud cases of five banks, CID's special police super Molla Nazrul Islam told a press conference at its office in Malibagh on Wednesday noon.
The CID also recovered huge clone cards and card making equipments from his possession, he said.
