Crude bomb attack on AL rally in Ctg, 4 hurt

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: At least four people were injured as unidentified criminals hurled crude bombs on an election campaign rally of Awami League in Chattogram’s Sitakunda upazila on Tuesday morning.

The injured were identified as Mohammad Rayhan, Tayeb Hossain, Sadda, Hossain and Mohammad Salek.

Confirming the matter, Sitakunda police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Delwar Hossain said, “We heard that crude bomb attack took place around 10:00am on the election rally of a candidate. Legal action will be taken in this regard.”

Chattogram Medical College Hospital police outpost ASI Alauddin said three of the injured are admitted in the burn unit of the hospital.
