Ctg hijacking suspect identified as Narayanganj man

Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj: Law enforcing agencies have identified the suspect killed by commandoes after the hijacking of a Biman Bangladesh flight.

The deceased is Mahamud Polash, 24, son of Pear Jahan at Dudhghata village under Pirojpur union of Sonargaon in Narayanganj.

Sonargaon Police Station’s Sub-Inspector Abul Kalam Azad said that the police headquarters asked them to inform about Mehedi or Mahadi Hasan. A photo was also sent to them.

His family members identified Polash seeing the photo.

It is known that Polash passed Dhakhil exam from Tahirpur Dakhil Madrasa in 2011. After that he was admitted to Sonargaon Degree College, but he stopped his study.

Polash’s father used to live abroad since 1990. Polash was passing a gorgeous life with the money given by his expatriate father. Once he was involved in the film industry. Polash also made several short films, his family said.
