DNCC starts removing waste of sacrificial animals

Staff Correspondent: Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) authority has started removing waste of sacrificial animals at 2:00pm on Wednesday to implement their pre-announced programme to remove the wastage.

The cleaning process started officially from temporary cattle market in west of Bridge no 2 in Uttara sector-2. 

Dhaka North City Corporation Panel Mayor Md Jamal Mostafa inaugurated the cleaning task.

Jamal Mostafa said, "We are giving importance on the public health issue. We are trying to waste within 24 hours so that the city dwellers do not face any trouble. We hope that we will be able to remove the waste of sacrificial animals within 24 hours."

A total of 9,500 cleaners are working in Dhaka North City Corporation to remove the waste of sacrificial animals.
