DU registered graduate election begins

Staff Correspondent: The election to choose 25 registered graduate representatives of the Dhaka University senate has begun.

The election will be held in four phases.

In first phase, the election is being held at 28 centres outside Dhaka today.

The election  began at 10:00am and will continue until 1:00pm.

Another two phases of voting will take on January 13 and 16 outside Dhaka, and the last phase will be held inside the university campus on January 20.

Results will be declared on January 21.

Earlier on Thursday, the authorities of Dhaka University published a list of 80 candidates nominated for Dhaka University senate graduate representative election.

DU registrar office published the list as per the article 20 (1) (K) of 1973 ordinance of the university.
