Staff Correspondent: Inaya Imam Hiya, the two and a half years old daughter of cabin crew Nabila Farhin, who was killed in a tragic plane crash in Nepal, has been found.
She was in the custody of Uttara West Police Station in the capital since Tuesday evening.
Ali Hossain Khan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Uttara West Police Station confirmed the news.
He said, “Hiya was rescued from a house of Mirpur-11. Domestic help of the house took her to Nabila’s mother house as she was crying. Later, she was rescued from there.”
Relatives of the deceased crew said Hiya’s grandmother (paternal) found Nabila’s house locked after she got news of the plane crash. She filed a general diary (GD) in this connection as she could not getting any information about Hiya. Her (Hiya) father Anan Ahmed lives in abroad.
A US-Bangla flight with 71 on board from Dhaka crashed in Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday, leaving at least 50 people dead. Nabila was also among them.
