16 more Rohingyas found dead in Teknaf

Cox's Bazar Correspondent: Law enforcement agencies have found 16 dead bodies of Rohingya people floating in Naf River of the district's Teknaf upazila on Friday, climbing the toll to 39 during last three days.

The deceased include eleven men, three women and two children, according to M Mainuddin Khan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Teknaf Police Station.

"Some of the bodies started to spread stink as these were found partially decomposed. They might have died two or three days ago," he added.

Earlier 23 Rohingya people were found dead on Thursday and Wednesday.
