Defamation to FFs: Report submitted against Khaleda

Staff Correspondent: Police have pressed charges against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in a libel case saying she defamed the freedom fighters through associating war criminals.

Though ABM Moshiur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC-Investigation) of Tejgaon Police Station, submitted the report before Dhaka's Eighth Magistrate Court on February 25, the matter was emerged on Thursday.

Magistrate Nur Nabi also took the charges in cognisance on March 22 and asked BNP chief to appear before court on June 11.
