Dr Zafrullah sued for stealing fish

Staff Correspondent: A case has been filed against Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury on charges of stealing fish.
The case was filed with Ashulia Police station of Savar, the outskirts of Dhaka, on Wednesday night.
Javed Masud, Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) of Ashulia Police Station, confirmed the news to risingbd on Thursday evening.
He said, “Md Muhibur Rab, owner of a 19.6 acre-land beside Gonoshasthaya Kendra in Savar, filed the lawsuit accusing Dr Zafrullah of attempted land grabbing, unauthorised entry and stealing fish from his pond.”
“Two other identified and some unidentified people were also accused in the case,” he added.
