Drug peddler killed in Ctg gunfight

Staff Correspondent: A suspected drug peddler has been killed in a gunfight with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at Jorarganj union of Mirsarai in Chittagong.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Didar, 32.

Chittagong RAB-7 Commander Lieutenant Colonel Mifta Uddin Ahmed said that on information, a team of RAB took position on Dhaka-Chittagong Highway and signaled two microbuses to stop. But, miscreants opened fire aiming RAB personnel from a microbus which triggered a gunfight. At one stage, miscreants fled the scene, leaving the microbus.

Later, RAB recovered the body searching the microbus.
