Drug trader killed in Cox’s Bazar ‘gunfight

Cox's Bazar Correspondent: A suspected drug peddler was killed in a ‘gunfight’ with members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in front of Power Development Board (PDB) office in Teknaf early Friday.

The deceased was identified as Azizul Haque, hailed from Shampur in Savar.

RAB-7 Cox's Bazar camp company commander Major Mehedi Hasan confirmed the matter.

65,000 pieces of Yaba pills, a foreign made pistol and three rounds of bullets were recovered from the spot.
