Ducsu polls: Arani-Shafi to lead independent panel

Staff Correspondent: A fraction of general students formed independent panel for the upcoming Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (Ducsu) and hall Union's polls.
At a press conference at Dhaka University TSC cafeteria, the panel was announced an on Tuesday.
Arani Semonti Khan was nominated for the post of vice-president (VP), Shafi Abdullah for general secretary (GS) and Amir Pramanik for assistant general secretary (AGS).
The secretariat members are- Freedom Fighters Affairs Secretary Shrabana Shafiq Dipti, Science and Technology Secretary Chayan Barua, Common Room and Cafeteria Secretary Omar Faruk, International Affairs Secretary Talim Hasan Rizvi, Literature and Publications Secretary Abu Rayhan Khan, Cultural Secretary Farhad Hossain, Sports Secretary Juhayer Anjum, Students Transport Secretary Touhid Tanzim and Social Service Secretary DM Rais-uz-zaman.
The other members are-Khandakar Mahfuz Salekin, Raka Aziz, Shah M Minhazul Abedin, Nahli Nafisa Khan, Sabik Khayer, Shams Nur, Kafil Ibne Kamal, Fahad Al Mahmud, Riazur Rahman, Amar Debnath, Azmain Tur Haque, Sarkar M Sadman and Azhar Uddin.
