EC starts dialogue with political parties

Staff Correspondent: The Election Commission (EC) has started the dialogue with the country's political parties over the next general election. Sammilita Sangskritik Jote (SSJ) joined the dialogue in the first day.

The dialogue chaired by Chief Election Commission (CEC) KM Nurul Huda started at Election Bhabon in the capital's Agargaon around 3:00pm on Thursday.

A delegation of 12 members led by the party chief Abu Layes attended the dialogue.

Though Bangladesh Nationalist Front (BNF) was set to attend the dialogue on Thursday morning, the party leaders escaped it on ground of distributing relief in flood affected areas.
