EC to settle appeals neutrally

Staff Correspondent: Election Commissioner Mahbub Talukder said the Election Commission (EC) will settle the application of rejected aspirants neutrally.

The commissioner made the opinion while visiting an appeal booth at Nirbachon Bhaban in the capital’s Agargaon on Tuesday.

Mahbub Talukder said, “Those who appealed to get back candidature, their appeal will be settled according to act neutrally.”

Following integrity, he said, “It’s a relative term. It differs from person to person. However, the commission will take decision hearing the logics of all candidates.”
