ECNEC approves 13 projects involving over Tk20,000cr

Staff Correspondent:The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) approved 13 projects involving Tk20,402 crore 75 lakh 79 thousand.

The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday approved 13 projects, including the mosque project to set up some 560 model mosques across the country.

The approval was given in the ECNEC meeting held at the NEC conference room at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar with ECNEC chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

After the meeting, Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal briefed journalists.

The model mosques will be constructed in all the districts, cities and upazilas of the country.

Tariq-Ul-Islam, Secretary, Planning Division, Dr. Shamsul Alam, Member (Senior Secretary) General Economic Division and others attended the press briefing.
