ECNEC approves 14 projects including EVM

Staff Correspondent: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday approved 14 projects worth an estimated cost of Tk 12,588.94 crore, including EVM (Electronic Voting Machine) project.

The approval was given in an ECNEC meeting chaired by Ecnec Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the NEC conference room.

Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal briefed the journalists about this.

Of the total estimated cost, Tk 8,842.33 crore will come from the national exchequer, he said. Tk257.01 will come the personal funds of the organizations and Tk3445.60 will come as project assistance.
