ECNEC approves 8 projects worth Tk 4,979.35cr

Staff Correspondent: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday approved eight projects involving an estimated cost of Tk 4,979.35 crore.

The approval came from the weekly ECNEC meeting held at the NEC conference room with EECNEC Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said, "Of the total project cost, Tk 4,069.34 crore will come from the national exchequer, Tk 858.85 crore from the project assistance while the rest of Tk 51.16 crore from the organization's own fund."
