ECNEC approves six projects

Staff Correspondent: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) approved six projects worth an estimated cost of Tk 2,650.75 crore.

The approval was given in an ECNEC meeting chaired by ECNEC Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the NEC conference room on Tuesday.

Planning Minister M A Mannan briefed the journalists after the meeting.  

The new projects will be implemented using government fund, he said.

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni, Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun and others attended the meeting.
