Staff Correspondent: The Election Commission (EC) will start dialogue with political parties from tomorrow (August 24) to take their opinions over the arrangement of next parliamentary elections.
The Commission will sit with six political parties, two parties each day, before Eid-ul-Azha. After the Eid, the EC will resume the talks with the other 34 political parties on September 10.
Following the schedule, EC already has sent official letter to two political parties. But, Bangladesh Nationalist Front (BNF) changed their schedule. So, Sammilita Sangskritik Jote will join the dialogue with EC first on that day.
In a press release signed by Bangladesh Nationalist Front (BNF) president SM Abul Kalam Azad said that his party is working to support flood affected people. After completing the programme for flood victims, the party will join the dialogue.
